Tidworth Town FC is taking part in Wiltshire’s
Big Pledge: Road to Rio!
This year it’s about getting active, achieving your goal, and having fun.
The Big Pledge Road to Rio challenge runs for eight weeks from 4 June -29 July and will take you on a virtual journey around the world stopping in previous Olympic host cities on your way to this year’s Olympic and Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.
As a team and club we have made a pledge to the complete the Road to Rio Challenge of 9281KM (actual distance London-Rio)
Over the next few weeks, we will be asking 2 team member of every team to wear a pedometer during all trainings sessions, tournaments and matches. The average will then be taken and multiplied by the number of children in the team. This will be added to our club tracker and hopefully help us to successfully complete our challenge.
